This app helps travelers find the cheapest flights possible and can really save you money if your dates aren’t set in stone. Once you put in your home city and desired destination, Hooper shows you a calendar of the coming year with dates color-coded to reflect historical price averages. The app has a “Watch This Trip” feature that sends you alerts if the price changes, and the app can also tell you if the price is the same to fly nonstop or with layovers, and you can choose to exclude basic fares from the results. One of the most useful feature is the price predictor, which explains if and when the price will rise and by approximately how much, allowing travelers to make an informed decision about whether or not to book or wait. This app can help you pick up any language and be able to read, write, and speak it in no time! The activities are simple and are for all age groups!

10. Whatsapp

This is one of my favorite apps and I use it even when I am not traveling. It is a great messaging service for travelers abroad as it uses an internet connection to avoid SMS fees. It works like most other messaging apps: You start by creating an account, then add your friends and family members to contact. You’re able to call, video chat, send messages, images, voice memos, gifs and files just as you would in, say, iMessage, and you it is compatible with Android Users. I am able to keep in touch with friends I make in different countries.

11. IceBeakers

I love to use this app while I am traveling and want to meet new friends or potential daters in the country that I am in. This app is unlike any other dating app because it allows me to interact with real people in real time. IceBreakers puts a modern twist on old school dating and courtship. It's for everyone. It's encourages you to make a move and allows you send gifts or a drink as a way to “break the ice”. This app bridges the gap between digital relationships and face-to-face conversation and creates a world where people engage in person much sooner then they tend to do now. Whether that be at a bar, club, restaurant, hotel, festival, sporting event, concert & more.
